Lots of people reffer to Van Gogh as "...the crazy guy who cut off his ear..."
Unfortunately that's how little they know.Vincent van Gogh was a very talented artist but he suffered frm epilepsy.It was during an epilepsy access that Vincent had cut off a part of his ear.
The critics of his time didn't really apreciate his work..not until he died anyway.The only one who stood by him and helped him all the way was his brother Theo.(Theo passed away a short while after Vincent's death)
People didn't understand Van Gogh.He spent many days of his life being hungry and cold.He often bought oil colors and canvas instead of food.And he wasn't the only one who had such sad fate...he is another one of those brilliant artists that people failed to understand.
